Rishab Sharma Paramount Theatre - Oakland Concert reviews
Music was good but......
The Rishab Sharma concert was "OK" - the show was too sexually oriented for my tastes, but the music was good. Pulling an audience member up on stage to "make out" with during a song is a bit over the top and not what I consider "entertainment" from a high caliber artist like Rishab Sharma. I think the theatrics of the sexually explicit games are not necessary - his music is great, his dance moves are solid.
Yes, the teeny boppers in the crowd hooped and hollered, and I'm sure they were all wishing they were the girl that was pulled up on stage. However, if that girl would see a playback of her "performance," I think she would be embarrassed about being treated like a "piece of meat."
Rishab Sharma is at the point in his career where he knows he could pretty much have any "girl" that he would want come and crawl into bed with him. However, I'm not sure that he is mature enough to understand what it's like to "relate" to someone. It would be nice if these "pop heroes" would pass along messages about people respecting each other and not the sophomoric "hey, who wants to come home with me tonight?"
Grow up and use your celebrity to raise people up, not degrade women. Just my little humble 2 cents worth!
